DTBST Challenge Keep It The Same/Monochrome

Hi Everyone can you believe it it's Thursday again which means it's time for another SSD DTBST challenge and that we are near the end of January already eeeeek.

But lets get on with what you need to know for this weeks challenge for this week the theme is to Keep It The Same/Monochrome so to help with your creative juices here is what I made for my DT make.

I used one of SSD Steampunk Images From The Online Shop and coloured with alcohol pens and added to the corrugated backing paper after cutting out using a scalloped spellbinders die.

Finally I look forward to seeing what you all create and add to the link at the bottom of SSD Blog.

DTBST Challenge It's Raining Men

Good morning everyone I hope the weather where you are isn't to cold and that you are keeping safe and warm. 

Today we have another new weeks DTBST challenge and the theme for this challenge is It's Raining Men.

This is what I came up with for my DT make.

To create this card I have used a SSD Digital Image From There Online Store where there are loads more Digital images and sentimints to choose from.

I then inked up the background with some of tim holtz distress ink and inked a embossing folder with a darker ink and placed the backing paper in then ran through a die cutting machine to emboss it I then matted and layered some corrugated card and burlap paper onto the card to give it lots of texture.

finally I hope you can find the time to join in with this and that my creation has given you some inspiration to get started.

SSD DTBST ( It's My Thang )

Good morning all you sassy fans I have a new DTBST challenge post for you today for another week and this challenge theme this week is IT'S MY THANG so create something using your favorite colours.

I have used the image of Rapunzel  as the focal point on this card and coloured her in with alcohol pens and used some tattered lace dies for the frame around her.

Crafting Musketeers Monthly Challenge #22 Cuddle Buddy-Cute

Well welcome to the start of 2015 and after all the celebrations to see the new year in we at Crafting Musketeers have a new monthly challenge starting today and our sponsor for this challenge is Lacy Sunshine and the theme for this challenge is Valentine & Hats  so create something with a image from

For this card I have used Rory Sweet Urchin Digi image from Cuddle Buddy that I have coloured in using my chameleon alcohol pens and some spellbinders to cut out image and layer the papers are from a DCWV 12x12 paper pad.
