Here is my DT Creation.

I coloured the image tink using alcohol pens and cut out with a spellbinders die and inked round the edged with a tim holtz ink pad the backing card layer ive embossed with a embossing folder and gone over slightly with the same tim holtz ink pad I then sculpted Martha Stewart paper clay into flowers, leaves and butterfly's using some silicon moulds and arranged onto the card.

Girl Power

Its that time again because there is another challenge over at
Pennys Challenges Blog the theme for this challenge is girl power and for this challenge one of there sponsors is Sassy Studio Designs and as a member of there Design Team this is my interpretation of this challenge.

The sassy images ive used from left to right are Carrie Sassy,Ashlee s Prom, Gogogirl2,Charlotte Sassy, Miranda Sassy and Ballroom sassy. I took these into my Craft Artist 2 Graphics Programme then took each image into my cutout studio with in the programme to remove all the white backgrounds leaving me with just the images outlines, once this was all done I then layered onto my graphics programmes work surface and layered them from back to front adjusting as necessary with my layering tool again within this programme.
Once printed out I coloured using my alcohol pens then cut the shape out using one of my spellbinder dies.
For the background ive used co ordination card stock the flower background was already embossed the blue I ran through a A4
These are also available
once this was done I layered onto the card adding a punched boarder created from one of tonic's new boarder punches and added a ribbon across the join.
Before stuck the topper onto the card I inked around the edge while still in the spellbinders die with one of Tim Holtz Distress ink pads.
Anyway think thats enough from me now I hope you will join in with all this fun as I love to see all your talented creation.

Hugs
Carrie

Inspirational Challenge

Today is another challenge over at Just Inspirational Challenges and for this challenge your inspiration is to created something  inspired  from this picture.

The sponsor for this challenge is Sassy Studio Designs and as part of there wonderful sassy sisters and brother design team this is what I have created from the inspiration from the picture above.

The image used is from Sassy Studio Shop and is called
Katniss Girl Of Fire  Sassy where there are lots more digi images you can choose from and have fun colouring.
Ive coloured her using a mixture of my spectrum noire and copic alcohol pens.  I've designed this card using my Craft Artist Professional 2 so everything on the card other than the word chic is totally flat because the digi image I've brought into the graphics programme .

Finally I look forward to seeing what everyone creates for this challenge.

Hugs

Fathers Day/For Men Challenge

Hi Guys here is another challenge over at Time 4 Scrap Blog the theme for this challenge this week is to create something suitable for fathers day or a male, Sassy Studio Designs is one of the sponsors for this so please go on over to there blog for more details and come and play along it would be great to see what everyone creates.

Here is my SSD DT creation for this challenge

To create this I've coloured the image with Tim Holtz distress inks using a water brush and some alcohol pens, the buttons have been coloured using the alcohol pens to ensure they co ordinated with the colour theme of the card and for the background I've inked the card with Tim Holtz ink pads then added some ripped script tissue paper that I printed onto and applied randomly onto the background mat layer then using watered down pva glue and paint brush I painted the PVA glue over the top of the randomly placed tissue paper to keep them in place  and left this to dry, once dried this gave the background some texture, I then finally added more distress inks and mica powders and mounted onto the card.

For the topper I used a couple of spellbinder dies and again distress them using the Tim Holtz Ink Pads.
