Ive created this wedge box for treats for Halloween however can be adapted for any occasion even for wedding favours and can be made in various sizes depending on your requirements I used my Crafters Companion Ultimate Pro uk Site Or Crafters Companion Ultimate Pro USA Site But can be created using any other score board and is very straight forward
Here is the Youtube Video on how to create this box however the tutorial is at the end of the video so please watch to the end.
The Sassy image ive used is Vampire Slayer Sassy from sassy studio designs digi image shop.
That ive coloured using alcohol pens and cut out, once had finished my wedge box before putting together I traced around one side to give me the mat layer which I then just cut slightly smaller than the trace line and did the same for the second layer, stuck the two together then wapped some bakers twine at various angles sticking to the back as I went, once this was done everything was mounted onto the wedge box then to keep the box together folded the box together and held the two folded edges at each side and punched a hole in them and fed some ribbon through then tied a bow no glue needed to keep this box together other than to stick your layer's , image and embellishments on.
To create my rosette I cut 1" strip from a 12" length of light card then scored down the whole strip every cm line using my Hoogie Score Board then stuck both ends together.
When dry I concertinaed together and stuck circular greeting to front in the centre and a blank one on the back of the rosette to keep together leaving something slightly heavy on top until dyed then attached to my finished wedge box.
