SSD Halloween Wedge/Treat Box

My SSD DT  Wedge/Treat Box
 Sponcered By

For

Ive created this wedge box for treats for Halloween however can be adapted for any occasion even for wedding favours and can be made in various sizes depending on your requirements I used my Crafters Companion Ultimate Pro uk Site  Or Crafters Companion Ultimate Pro USA Site  But can be created using any other score board and is very straight forward
Here is the Youtube Video on how to create this box however the tutorial is at the end of the video so please watch to the end.
The Sassy image ive used is Vampire Slayer Sassy  from sassy studio designs digi image shop.
That ive coloured using alcohol pens and cut out, once had finished my wedge box before putting together I traced around one side to give me the mat layer which I then just cut slightly smaller than the trace line and did the same for the second layer, stuck the two together then wapped some bakers twine at various angles sticking to the back as I went, once this was done everything was mounted onto the wedge box then to keep the box together folded the box together and held the two folded edges at each side and punched a hole in them and fed some ribbon through then tied a bow no glue needed to keep this box together other than to stick your layer's , image and embellishments on.
To create my rosette I cut 1" strip from a 12" length of light card then scored down the whole strip every cm line using my Hoogie Score Board  then stuck both ends together.
When dry I concertinaed together and stuck circular greeting to front in the centre and a blank one on the back of the rosette to keep together leaving something slightly heavy on top until dyed then attached to my finished wedge box.

The new grim reaper digi image available at Sassy Studio Designs soon

I made a 8x8 card using a background paper from a digi kit I have adding the skulls, spade, sign, bats, bird, spiders web, and spider as embellishments then added a white shadow to the skulls using my graphics programme to make them look as tho they are glowing.

To help me create this as a SSD Dt member we had a bingo card with images on to choose from we had to choose 5 images from any line going across down or diagonal I chose the top line going across for may project.

 bat,bird,spooky sign,fence and spiders web.

Here is a close up of the grim reaper ive coloured using my spectum noir alcohol pens from crafter companion added a bit of stickles glitter glue to the frills of the dress and some glossy accents to her eyes and blade to give it a glossy finish.

Congratulations A5 Marriage Card

This is A5 size card the image is from crafters companion
Morehead Wedding Stamps That ive then stamped with momento black ink and coloured in with my spectrum noir alcohol pens and cut out around the edges and added some glossy accents to the grooms shoes.
I also used some new spellbinder dies to create the gate and railing's which both are exclusive to create and craft tv railing   Gate However the railing is exclusive until November 2012 and the gate is exclusive until beginning of 2013

Then the mat layer was embossed using a m bossibility from spellbinders and mounted onto some foam pads to raise up of the base card then went around the edges with some cosmic shimmer silver pearlised glue to give it a bit of dimension and attached the cut out stamped image, greeting was cut out using the circle spellbinders die and then the scalloped circle cut some mirri card and mounted on top of each other to give the silver scalloped edge and added to the card.

SSD Larger Pin Up Image Bookmark

This bookmark is made using a template from craft artist professional 2 graphics programme which I then added the backing paper wood effect behind the template, then added the hinge and greeting embellishments to the bookmark once this had been done the sassy studio design larger pin up digi image, I brought into the programme and used the cut out studio to cut around the image digitally discarding the unwanted white background to just leave me with the image alone.
Then placed the image onto the bookmark and printed out onto supper smooth white card stock 250gsm, I then coloured the image in using my alcohol pens once this had been finished I cut round the template and stuck the front and back of the bookmark together and punched a hole in the middle at top then added a bit of paper raffia ribbon to coordinate with the theme and added a black dew drop gem over the punched hole.
once all dry I added some glitter glue to the beer foam on both large beer glass and small.

October 2012 Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This Is My First Card as a Sassy Studio Design Team Member

Hello Everyone I hope the day where you are is nice and sunny like it is here now after a rather dull and rainy start to the morning the sun has his hat and a smile on now yeahhhh.
Now this card is a 6"x6" size and is my first make as a dt member for Sassy Studio Designs which is all very exciting and after asking loads of questions and probably making a real nuisance of myself woops I have finally made this card for Link Up For Pink Party That Sassy Studio Designs Is Sponsoring  of which im a dt member of so there will be more cards and other crafty creations from me over the coming weeks with other themes.
To start with ive designed the papers using my Craft Artist Professional 2 then taken paper into a programme with in it and applied the embossed effect to the paper so what you see in the photo is the finished result I achieved which has given them a 3dimentional effect even tho in reality they are totally flat papers.
The image is Pink Ribbon Sassy which I have flipped to face the other way and used the cutout studio In craft artist professional 2 to cut away the white background from the image to just leave me with the sassy image aloan and placed onto the papers and printed once printed I coloured in the image using alcohol pens and then mounted onto the mat layers then next to this i rapped some raffia ribbon round a couple of time then added a extra piece of raffia ribbon to create the bow in the middle of the bow a dew drop embelishment has been added.
Finally for the greeting I used a couple of circle spellbinder nesties and matted and layered ontop of each other and mounted onto the card you may notice that there is a slight colour difference with the backing papers on the base card to the ones used with the sassy image that is because ive printed the papers on the base card and the greeting onto photo glossy paper and the papers with the image on are neena super smooth card which has a matt finish.

My Sassy Studio Designs DT Application Entries

This Bag started out life as just a plain every day paper bag that I decided to Sassy it up the image ive used is Carrie Sassy ive coloured her using my alcohol pens then used a spellbinders nesti to cut and emboss the two different size shape then layered on top of one another.
Papers ive got from one of my digi kits from my Craft Artist Professional 2 graphics programme the buttons have been created using one of the papers and my Button Making  Epiphany Button Tool From Crafter Companion then added some bakers twine to each button to finish them off then finally added some pearl swirl gems which are from Creative Expressions and are available from Create And Craft Tv  when in stock.
I have designed this bookmark again using my Craft Artist Professional 2 layered the different size papers ontop of each other to give a slight boarder around the edge then added Sassy Design Studio  Digi image that now appears to be no longer available because this was made available during September 2012 for the DT Call application.
Then what I did next was to add a digital shadow to the layers aswell as to the Image to give it the look of being raise up from the Bookmark even tho everything is totally flat.
Then I stamped the greeting punched a hole n the middle at the top of the bookmark and added a ribbon to finish it off.
Finally this is my 3rd Entry for the DT application that was running until 30th September 2012 This Card is a 6"x6" square size and very easy to create the whole card was again designed using my Craft Artist Professional 2  So once I was happy with the overall design of the card I added  Samantha Sassy Image to the topper then printed out once printed out I coloured her in  using my alcohol pens then cut out layers and mounted onto the base card.

These are all my entries when applied to become a DT member for Sassy Studio Designs  So When I was contacted saying they wanted me to join the DT for a period of 6 month I was over the moon very excited doent really cover it even did a happy dance lol unfortunatly I was at work when found out so had to keep my excitment to a minimum but if i was at home the wall would have rattled.
Im looking forward to getting to know all the new DT members aswell as everyone eeeeeeeek so exciting.
